RSL Authors of the Day!

At Rotary Summer Literacy we love to encourage our campers to be anything they wish to be. We embrace each camper's unique talents and interests, and seek to share those special traits with others. Take a look at Mercedez' work from this morning... talent comes in many forms!

My Talent is Writing
I like to write stories on a girl named Lily. One time I made her a butterfly then changed her back to a human. Here are some tips on how to be an awesome writer:
1. If you don't know how to spell something as an adult or look in a dictionary.
2. Don't skip lines because if you do you don't get to write a lot.
3. Make sure you can read your work after it's finished - if you can't no one else can.
4. If people say your writing is bad don't erase it, keep it. It's good!
5. Make every story an adventure.
